Grains of Memories 何時, 何方, 為什麼 (10.11.25, updated 10.17.25)

Sands of memories, collectively, in unity

swoosh flow on route 不停流

似水流年 the grains of memories keeps flowing towards infinity

On and on, 一去不復返

Keeps going and going, only down

The sands flow down the slope of the bulb

Down the narrow channel of the hourglass

Sands, moments running so fast 不斷加速 faster

No single grain of moment will still stand to last

As every sand, memory slides, falls into the past

Try to return this memory up the hourglass

To the present, but the gravity of this universe will let none go back

Also impossible to reproduce any sand, any moment which is all 絕無僅有

Unique in all the physical, emotional, spiritual intentions that were all put out

So the past is the past

But imagination is a strong vehicle, 富於想像 a strong looking glass

Imagine what could have been in the past

Many times to bypass the stress, the hurt, the mistakes, the confusion

Imagine another version of the past

Intensify, exaggerate the pleasures and successes of the past

Bond over the trauma of these grains of memories 依靠創傷

Emotional dependency will ultimately lead to more hurt

But what about the present, what about the future

The mind, the spirit stagnant in the past bliss

Reliving the moments that pump serotonin into a projected happiness

Yet grains of sand continue to swoosh down the hourglass

Memories are not leaving the hourglass

Their truths, their weight, their presence will forever last

So embrace them, cherish them, learn from them

Acknowledge them with gratitude for their having existed 銘心刻骨

Swoosh, slide down along the present, into the future

Wishes, dreams push forward, imagine, 海闊天空plan with no bounds

繼續探索 let these sands fly to new grounds

As new memories will continue to always swoosh down

Expected, unexpected, either way

Have faith, 堅持不渝 believe in persevering all the way

Embrace the new chapters, miraculous and tragic 擁抱未來

Embrace the radical uniqueness of each grain of sand that passes
